Today was nothing short of amazing as we gathered for an impromptu cuppa at Cadence Cafe in Nerang, Qld.
Even with such short notice the turnout was awesome, with many new faces eager to connect and engage with others.

It was a diverse and welcoming group, each person bringing their unique perspective and experiences to the conversations.
Stories were shared, connections were made, and laughter filled the air.

A memorable moment was when one member told us how the VPIC Safety Card had recently helped them when they found them self in time of need.
It serves as a heartwarming reminder of the tangible impact our vision has on the lives of those we serve.
Inspired by this story, another member remarked, ” I need to get my card and keep it in my wallet.”

Meeting face-to-face always adds a new dimension to our interactions and strengthens the bonds within our community.
For many, being able to spend time with other individuals who personally understand and empathize with their journey, was deeply comforting.

Sharing some comments from our members…
“It was so fun ! … Good group of people !” …. “Being able to spend time with people who go through the same things makes me feel less alone.” …. “It was a great turnout and good to meet people in person.”

As I reflect on today’s impromptu cuppa, I am filled with gratitude for the connections made, the stories shared, and the sense of belonging fostered within our community.

I would like to make a special shout out to our new volunteer for their invaluable assistance in communications, contact and bringing this event to fruition. Your dedication and support are truly appreciated.

We look forward to many more gatherings filled with laughter, camaraderie, and meaningful connections.

Until next time, have an Awesome week !
